| Field notes | Tree, flowers cream. Maasai name: orperr olong'o (orperr ~to divide in two parts, olong'o ~ shield) (foto exist). There are two types of "orperr olong'o", they have the same type of leaves, but the other has thorns and is used for soup. This type is used for handle of shields as it is hard and flexible. Not used for construction, reason not known. |
