| Field notes | Liana, flowers white. Maasai name: olekiushin (kiushin ~ termitary) Used for anthrax, burned root is smeared on the abscess?. For pleumonia and"oloirobi", particularly pain in the throat a decoction of the root is drunk. Four pieces 15 cm long and 2 cm thick is boiled in 2 litre of water for an hour until one litre remain and drunk with a drop of milk to change the colour. The medicine is drunk twice a day for several days. |
