| Field notes | Tree. Maasai name: engoirrien Burning charcoal used to clean calabashes, as it gives the milk a good taste. Big branches are placed in front of the mothers hut during the day whiere her child is circumcied. Branches are used to burn in "olokor". A handfull of bark is boiled, mixed with a little milk and drunk for "oloirobi". It is light green and bitter. |
