| Field notes | Shrub. Maasai name: alatapa The plant is poisonous for people, but not for cattle. Pounded leaves is extracted one hour and used to wash small calves and goats with fleas. It can be prepared by heating, but not as good as the extraction. Four branches of c. 30 cm is enough for treatmen of 10 calves. |
