Field notes Twiner. Maasai name: olorrondo The root is used for pain the the throat, 20-30 x 1 cm thick piece is boild in water and drunk when it has cooled. The ripe fruits are sweet and eaten by children. The unripe fruits harm the throat and stomach, so it swallows. It can only be cured with hot fat from a newly slaugthered goat.
