Field notes 1,5 m high tree. Maasai name: oltemwai Sap used on jiggers to kill them. Sap mixed with water and used for washing calves and goats to remove ticks and fleas. Tree used for thornfence around the boma. Oloirago ole Mayanga: sap is used to treat fresn and infected wound on human. It function both as a medicine as it cleans the wound and as a fat as it protect the wounds against flies. It is the best treatment for wounds and can be stored in a closed container. It is sued to wash cattle with ticks and fleas. 1/4 teaspoon, shall be mesured with care as it can kill the cattle, and smeared on the cattle, water is added and it is rubbed until it foams and further water is added until the foam isn't dense any longer. The treatment can be repeated, but first after 20 days.
