| Field notes | Maasai name: arpalakai It grows close to the stream. It is the poorest kind of grass for the cattle and will even not be included in a list over grass eaten, as the cattle don't like it, the reason isn't known. But if they eat it in the begining of rain season, while it is tender it will cause diarrhoea. |
