Field notes Maasai name: orkujita onyokie It is highly infested with ticks, which transmit East Coast Fever to cattle. It is only good as long time as it is green, when it is dry from August til December it doesn't feed the cattle, they get thin and weak, but might continue to eat it if other species are not available.
