| Field notes | Grows under "osendu" on the slope. Maasai name: asangai Lepilal ole Nakuroi: asangash It is a good grass. It is mostly eaten in begining of rain season, around December and Januar. It starts to grow from old shots, and are therefor available before other species. People from Sendui are only allow to grass it until others species are available after the rain. Then they have to leave it. |
