| Field notes | Not growing in tussocks. Maasai name: arpalakai Grows in slopes in the highland and remain green for a long period. If cattle eat it everyday they will get diarrhae and be thin, the illness is called "empalaka". It is treated with a mixture of blood from healthy animal and urine. The disease only occur in dry season and isn't a big problem. |
