| Field notes | Herb, flowers white to light red. Maasai name: endapipi It grows together with "alamnyani" (LE 697). It is bad as food for the cattle before flowering as it cause tympanites. It is very good after flowering and particularly used from April to July, as it is quickly to grow up and to dry again. It really make the cattle fat and particularly increase the amount of fat surrounding entrails. It makes the bull fighting. Blood drunk from animals feeding on "endepipii" irritate the throuth. |
