| Field notes | Twiner. Maasai name: orboboli The round fruit is used as container for "bitter" eg. harmful "entasimi" mad by the "oloiboni" and is placed in a termitery tube. Only used in accordance to prescription by the specialist in medicine "oloiboni". The prescription can be as follows: use a decoction to wash the body or mix it with "entasimi" and share it with people in your own boma. Meshuko ole Mapi, oloiboni, mkidong'i-clan, living in Buti close to Makuyuni: Not recognised nor by seeing plant, neither after mention of local name. |
