| Field notes | Shrub. Maasai name: oltimigomi Decoction of woodpieces with innerbark is mixed with meatsoup, very high estimated and particularly used in meatcamps. It helps people to get healthy, as it increase the amount of blood when mixed with meat. It stimulate sexual activity. Decoction of bark is mixed with milk and drunk as tea. Women at the boma of ole Sanguyan, Sendui: Bark and bark of root is sued for "olomelok" is the second best ofater "arpande", 1/2 handful is boiled for a few minutes in 1 1/2 litre of water and mixed with the same amount of milk. |
