| Field notes | Herb. Vernacular name: chine. Use: medicine for "aire frío" (spanish term): the root is used to a drink. For "golpe de aire" (spanish term): a decoction of the plant, sugar cane alcohol and cocoa butter is used for dressing. For knock: the plant with "alcanfor" (camphor?) and "timolina" (thymecamphor?) is spat on the knock. |
