| Field notes | Herb, 1/2 m high, flower white to light red. Vernacular name: alcachofera hembra. Use: for care of the skin: the oil of the flowers is used. Medicine for skin disease: as bath together with leaves of "durazno" Prunus persica. Diuretic: a decoction is made together with "cola de caballo" Equisetum, "llantén" Plantago and other species used diuretically. |
