Field notes Herb, flowers yellow. Vernacular name: pacunga. Use: medicine for the nerves and gangrene: the flowers are used. For "inflamación" (spanish term): the root is boiled with "malva" (Malvaceae) and the roots of "zhiran" Bidens. For ache in the joints: is crushed together with flower of "mora" Rubus and used for dressing.
