Field notes Shrub, flowers lilac, fruits green. Vernacular spanish name: ají, quichua: huchu. Use: as a spice. Medicine: for headache, weakness and cold: clean and massage the whole body with 12 fruits, which afterwards are through far away. For bites of dog: the leaves are heated in the fire and tied on the affected place.
