| Field notes | Herb, flowers white. Vernacular name: valeriana del cerro. Use: as herb tea. Medicine for the nerves: the root is extracted in water during one month, this is drunk in the morning. Diuretic: a decoction of the plant together with "cola de caballo" Equisetum, "diente de león" Taraxacum and "helcho" (Polypodiaceae) is drunk. |
