| Field notes | Twiner with white latex. Maasai name: oloilei Latex is placed on fresh wounds, as it keeps them cool, e.g. prevent inflammation in the wound. Latex used as glue to atttact feather of oestrich to the arrows. Eaten by sheeps and goats. It is planted outside of fence around the boma, where it will regrow and add to the existing fence. |
