The "entasimi" made of "enchani ekule" is often referred to as "entasimi ekule" or "entasimi sirwa", which means white "entasimi" and correspond to the powders colour. Pealed root grained and used for "sweet entasimi" by "oloiboni". Meshuko ole Mapi, oloiboni, mkidong'i-clan, living in Buti close to Makuyuni: Grained root used for "entasimi" to treat women who can't get pregnant and to increase number of cattle. The women bathe with a decoction of "engaiteteyai" (Commelinaceae Commelina) or "orkipire lekima" (various collection with this local name) and after an amulet with "entasimi" of this collection is made of a leather strip to wear in her belt. To increase number of cattle the "entasimi" might be mixed with butter in which the iron marker is dipped before marking the cattle or it might be burned in a fire in centre of the boma, so the cattle breathe in the smoke. Olootaosirwa ole Mako, oloiboni living in Piaya: Root is used for "entasimi" for treatment of women, who can't bear and to increase the number of cattle. The oloiboni's" calabash or horn with stones, called "enkidong'" direct how it shall be used. |
