| Field notes | Liana, long unbranched branches were hanging down from a tree. Maasai name: olnyaal (big), enyaal (small) Crushed bark is used as soap to wash the body, is of same quality as "engapooi". 120 cm steem with leaves c. 3 cm wide is pounded and extrated in 5 litre water and given to cows, which has given birth without deliver placenta to expel it. It is of same quality as "osupukiai", but not as good as "oluai". |
