| Field notes | Herb, flowers white. Maasai name: engapooi (Lepilal Ole Nakuroi said the name is: engaposh). The grained root is like soap and the warriors use it to wash their hair. The grained root is put on wounds both new and inflammed wounds. Lepilal ole Nakuroi: name is engaposh. William ole Seki: Smashed bark on root is used on burns to prevent infections. |
