| Field notes | Tree, fruits black. Maasai name orkonyil (big), engonyil (small) (plural doesn't exist) Bark 6 pieces of 15 cm long roots is boiled and mixed with meatsoup and drunk for all kind of gonorrhea. It is used in meatcamps. The decoction is red and very bitter and change the urin-colour to blue. The medicin can be used by bothe sexes and every agegroups. |
