Field notes Shrub. Maasai name: esendu (small), oséndu (big) Used as parfume. The twined bark is used as necklace. Decoction of leaves mixed with fat is smeared on the cloths, particularly used when at the end of a meatcamp. William ole Seki: Placed on sleepingplaces in meatcamps.
