Field notes Herb, flowers orange. Maasai name: emasiligi (small), armásiligi (big). Used to prevent malignant catarrhal fever, contaminated to cattle by wilderbeast. The root is mixed with "emsigiyoi" and honey and buried in the cattlegate. Eaten by goats.
