| Field notes | Shrub, flowers green. Maasai name: engáimorunyai. Decoction of thorns is used to wash the body for harm caused by bad entasimi. It is often prepared together with "olkiloriti". The red decoction of bark is mixed with meatsoup and drunk. It is not used for any specific disease. William ole Seki: Used to extent earlobes. Olootaosirwa ole Mako, oloiboni living in Piaya: The thorns are boiled together with thorns of "olkiloriti", "entepesi", "orkipire lekima" and "entere epapa" and "entasimi" is added to wash a sick who has been cursed by another person. |
