Field notes Parasite, flowertube green, tip red. Maasai name: emandaite (small) armandáite (big). The body is washed with a decoction against harm caused by bad entasimi. Eaten by goats. Meshuko ole Mapi, oloiboni, mkidong'i-clan, living in Buti close to Makuyuni Decoction of plant is used as Turkish bath by people cursed by someone and by people with "oloirobi". After the Turkish bath one has to wash oneself with water. Olootasosirwa ole Mako, oloiboni living in Piaya: Used as container for "entasimi" called "armanet" by making a hole in the stem. The "entasimi" can be made of "olkiloriti", "olmoswa" "oloireroi", "orkokola", each of them are used separately and in accordance to what the stones in the horn or calabash, called "enkidong'" shows.
