| Field notes | Shrub. Maasai name: oloibor benek (means white leaves). Big branches are used to close gate of the boma at night. Decoction of root mixed with fat is smeared on the clothes as parfume, particularly used when leaving meatcamp. A warrior mentioned: "The women really like it". |
