Maasai name: orupande The red decoction of bark is mixed with milk and drunk by pregnant women with stomach pain and it is mixed with cowmilk to make the milk go further, called "olomelok". It is drunk by children and women. Lepilal ole Nakuroi: Very good for "olomelok" as it makes it heavy and better satisfy the stomach. Three pieces as big as a hand is boiled a few minutes in 2 litre of water (it gets red) and mixed with 3 litre of milk. The "olomelok" is also drunk by pregnant women with stomach pain.
