| Field notes | Shrub. Maasai name: engammai The red decoction of branches is mixed with soup and drunk. Not used for any specific disease. Lepilal ole Nakuroi: it is used to mix with meatsoup to dilute fat, not high estimated and not used at meatcamps. When used sole 5-6 pieces 20 cm long and as thick as a finger is used for a portion suiting for 10 persons. It is good for "olomelok", as it is a bit sweet and makes the mixture heavy, so it better satisfy the stomach. 5-6 pieces 20 cm long and as thick as a finger is used for 2 litre of warter, which is mixed with 3 litre milk. |
