| Field notes | Tree. Maasai name: alamuriaki It has nice fruits, which are eaten by everybody. Lepilal ole Nakuroi: It is used for "bone-gonorrhea", a pain in particularly backbones and knees, which everybody can suffer from. Six pieces of roots 25 cm lang and thick as 2 fingers are boiled in one litre for an hour and can be mixed with a drop of milk to change the colour. The portion suits for 2 person. The treatment can will be repeated twice, and if improvement take place then continued else something else will be tried. The same amount of medicine can be mixed with meatsoup, which then suits for 8 persons and is less strong than the former. It can not be used sole to mix with meatsoup. |
