Field notes Herb, flowers orange. Maasai name: armasiligi "Oloiboni" use the steem as tin for the "oloing'oni", meaning bull and refer to a strong harmfull medicine. It is sealed with wax and placed on the way of the person one wants to harm. Herd boys use steems for pea shooter. Meshuko ole Mapi, oloiboni, mkidong'i-clan, living in Buti close to Makuyuni It is used to treat mental disturbed people, "entasimi enekyuwang" is mixed with at bit of water and smeared on the patient head, and the big leaves of "armasiligi" are used as razor blades pretend to shave the sick to remove the mental disturbances. The stem is used as a container for "oloing'oni" used to harm or kill a person, by placing it close to this person. "oloing'oni" is grained medicine made by the "oloiboni". It can for example be made of root of "enkokola", bark on root of "alaturrujiai", and "osiyei".
