Maasai name: emborokwai ekop (emborokwai ~ helper, enkop ~ ground). 10 pieces of 15 cm long small root is boiled in 2 litre water and mixed with 3 litre milk to make it goes further, called "olomelok" and given to children to satisfy their stomach, when milk is insufficient. It is not very high estimated for "olomelok". 4-5 roots are boiled in a cup of water and mixed with a cup of milk to be given to goat kid as substitute for milk. The portion is for two kids.
