| Field notes | Shrub. Maasai name: engarrani One of the most important species used by "oloiboni" to make "oloing'oni" means e.g.. bull, but is used in the sense strong, as it used in strong medicine used to harm, cause misery and death to people. The stick is used as a carrier of the "oloing'oni", which can be filled in a hole in the stick and placed on the ground or at the fence of the boma, or the "oloing'oni" can be smeared on the stick and then thrown in the direction of the persons one want to harm. |
