| Field notes | shrub Maasai name: oloiyapasei. Six pieces of 10 cm long roots is boiled for a few minutes, mixed with a few drops of milk to change its colour and drunk by children with "oloirobi" (means cold, but doesn't refer to a specific disease). The decoction is clear and without bitter taste. The plant is eaten by goats. |
