| Field notes | Sub shrub Maasai name: olbibiai losupuko. (osupuko ~ highland). A part of a single leave are chewed for "enapurrsesen" (sesen means body) (pain in the stomach without diarrhoea and vomiting). It is very bitter. "It is really a medicine" It doesn't provoke vomiting or diarrhoea. It can be used by everybody, but isn't known of everybody. |
