| Field notes | Twiner, fruits red. Maasai name: olorróndo. Decoction of the root can be used to mix with meat soup, but is not highly estimated for the purpose, maybe because it doesn't dissolve fat very well or is a little bitter. (Informant hasn't used it.) Fruits are eaten by herd boys (taste first sweet afterwards prudish). |
