| Field notes | Low shrub, flowers yellow. Maasai name: alchánipus la alasuria (pus means blue, asuria means snake). Used to treat snakebites of snakes from the highland called "osupuko". Flowers and leaves are chewed and mixed with sap of the fruit of "endúlelei" (Solanaceae, Solanum incanum) and placed on the bite. |
