| Field notes | Tree cortex red brown Maasai name: emároroi (small) armároroi (big). Medicine for particularly small children with fever is made of the leaves are cut, boiled in water and mixed with milk. The bark gives a red decoction used for tea, it may be drunk together with milk. |
