| Field notes | Tree, leaves shiny, aromatic Maasai name: esilalei (small) osilalei (big). Decoction of bark is given to calves with diarrhoea with blood to stop it. The wood is used for bee-hives. It is light and can last up to teen year, if kept well How??. The hives is cleaned in January or February to get rid of bush baby and giant rat, who likes to live in the hives. |
