| Field notes | Maasai name: engoiyápasei (small) oloiyápasei (big). Can be used for construction af walls of the hut instead of "osononi" (Lantana ). Decoction of root is given to babies in addition to breast feeding not because of scarcity of mother milk, but as a substitute to water. Information given by Naitipa Metele, grandmother 55 years. |
