| Field notes | Tree, flowers green. Maasai name armamé Used for "gonorrhorea". 4-5 root pieces 2 1/2- 3 cm thick and 10-12 cm long are boiled for one hour and mixed with soup boiled the night through on head and hooves of a sheep to give 2 litre of which each person drink 1/2-1 litre. It provokes both vomiting and diarrhoea. |
