| Field notes | Herb, flowers white. Maasai name: osoket Used for "gonorrheae", particularly elders, who can't urinate. A bundle of roots as thichk as 5 fingers and c. 20 cm long is boiled in 2 litre of water for 1 hour and mixed with 2 litre of meat soup. The portion suits for 2 persons. Can't be used together with other species used to mix with meat soup. Decoction is neither red nor bitter. |
