| Field notes | Tree. Maasai name: olodwa lekishu (ekishu ~ cattle) Used for all kind of "gonorrhea" as "iloodwa". Two spoons of grained fruits are swallowed with water or ox urine, it provokes diarrhoae, or one spoon is prepared as tea, boiled shortly and mixed with milk and sugar. The portion suits for 2 persons and are the best for treatment of "gonorrheae" as it doesn't provoke diarrhoea and therefore stays long time in the body. |
