| Field notes | Herb, leaves sticky. Maasai name: alaabai Used to wahs small calves and goats for fleas. Leaves of 6 sticks c. 40 cm long are smashed and heated in 3 litre of water or mixed with same amount of cattle urine and used to wash 3 calves. Used regularly, when calves get fleas. Treatment can't harm the calves. |
