| Field notes | Tree, flowers yellow, bark smoth pealing of. Maasai name: olchurrai Used for thornfence around the boma. Decoction can be used to mix with meatsoup at meatcamps, but in lack of better. Peter Metele: "engopit", innerbark, pulled of like a string is chewed and "esirbibi", soft bark below "engobit" is eaten. The last is the best and both are better than the inner bark of "elerai" and "orng'wong'wenyi" |
