| Field notes | growing in crevices on granitic boulder. Rhizome without specialized branches. Aeril shoots to 0.5 m tall, clumped 5-10 together, with 1-2 leaves at base when mature, but essentially caulescent. Leaf blades purplish beneath. Inflorescences usually at tips of leafy branches, but occasionally on specialized branches from the rhizome, these shoots +- erect. no flower seen open at 15:30 hrs |
