| Field notes | Tight-clustering rattan to 12 m high. Cut stems yelds white latex. Stem with sheath c. 2-2.5 cm tkick, non-flagellate. Sheath pale green, kneed, spines red-tipped. Leaf to 1.5 m long including a 40-50 cm long cirrus; leaflets pale green in pairs, except the final 1 or 2, about 8 pairs on a side of the rachis, petiole hardly distinct. Male inflorescence with 11 partial inflorescences Rotan lemaing (lb.), Rotan taut (Dus.). |
