| Field notes | Slender clustering rattan to 8m high. Sheathed stem to 2cm thick. Fruit ellipsoid-obovoid, scales green with brown edges. Sheaths pale green with scattered minute spines and swollen ochres. Leaves about 30-50cm long (including c.30-50cm long cirrus) with 6-7 pairs of leaflets; glaucous below. Infructescences with c.6 partial inflorescences. |
