| Field notes | Clustering rattan climbing to 15 m. Internodes 27 cm long. Diameter of stem with sheaths 4.7 cm, without sheaths 2.7 cm. Leaves ecirrate, to 3.4 m long, incl. petiole 60cm long, with 40 pinnae on each side of the rachis, mostly in pairs, with each of the pinnae in a pair held in different planes. Infructescence including flagellum 6 m long. Fruits 31 mm long by 21 mm wide. Specimen should be cited as A. Bogh 42738. |
